Deborah was born in the North-East of England and was educated in the Grammar School system in Northamptonshire. Currently residing in New Hampshire, USA on 100 acres of beautiful mountain woodlands, she formerly worked within the International Corporate systems of Information Technology Management.
An ordained Minister, she sees a need for people to relieve the stresses of modern existence and prefers to use humour and light-heartedness to enliven the spirit.
Her children's books are pagan-friendly and incorporate some of the beliefs of her Native American husband and step-children. They are gentle, magickal stories of spirit animals, woodland folk, and the powers of children to see through the trappings of society.
Her pagan oriented 'Spells For..' series is a source of daily inspiration for mundane living. Written with humour they intend to bring acts of spiritual empowerment down out of their ivory towers into the kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms of everyday living.
As a wedding officiant she provides insight into the planning, execution and celebration of ceremonies, with emphasis on the importance of the outcome of the event, rather than focusing on the stresses involved. The Officiant's handbook is for anyone who is getting married, containing many modern and traditional ceremonies and ideas. The Keepsake books are specific to the weddings themselves. A memory of the day, and include the vows and ceremonies, along with pictures and poignant moments of the events.
