The Gryphon Taint: Volume
One is the first book in a fantasy epic about monsters,
angels, witches, and royalty. The ebook can be downloaded in its
entirety. You don't pay a cent.
Why a free to read ebook? Well, I have rarely
purchased
a book before having read something of the author's work first, and
usually the copy was either loaned by a friend, or borrowed from the
library. But my book isn't in the libary yet. Your friends don't have
it to loan. So I must be the good chum that says, "Hey! Read this! It's
good!"
So go ahead. Read it and enjoy. If you like it,
come back and put my series on your shelf. And please tell your
friends. I can't be a bestselling author without you.
Bound in Stone:
Volume One is also free to read as an ebook. The first novel of the Bound set covers the early years
of two brothers and how they become slaves of the Shadow Master. Volume
Two is about how they break free of him, despite family members that
would prefer to remain in power under the sorcerer's patronage, and
despite the desperate attempts of the Shadow Master's coven to murder
the boy that is slowing down his political agenda. Volume three is a
massive personal disaster for our youngest hero, but don't worry. He
survives, and you'll meet him again in The Gryphon Taint, at which
point he gets set to cause hell in the following three books, The
Disposition of Ashes.
Content
warning: Bound in Stone and all books after Gryphon Two
have adult themes.

Print: $13.03 Ufrid Tyrunath, the heir apparent to the throne of Ulmenir, has been a hero, a leader, and a traitor. He’s colluded with the Shadow Master, murdered his father, and raped his brother’s wife. In retribution, he’s been forced into slavery to an ancient half-elf female, grandmother of the woman he can never have. How can life get any worse?
Oh, it can get much worse, if one has crossed the line of social decency and taken a certain renegade monk for a lover. Slavery will seem an easy burden by the time Ufrid learns the truth of former Abbot Herfod, revered living saint of the Turamen Order. And the promise of death will be but a small price to pay for having earned the secret.
This novel is the seventh book in The Soulstone Chronicles.

Print: $12.87 The Ulmeniran army is on the march for home, and with it rides Herfod, the mortal avatar of an inscrutable god that has defied the comprehension of the pantheon for aeons beyond count. Ufrid, the uncrowned king of Ulmenir, is well aware of what he takes to bed each night, but it hasn’t been easy, and life isn’t getting easier. His brother has returned from travels afar with another god in tow, a satyr that may well know what and who Herfod is. Worse yet, there is a secret watcher up in the heavens, and he seems disapproving of the current path Herfod has chosen to take in life.

Print: $12.47 Their first winter together is at an end, and the relationship between Ufrid, Nicky and Herfod has survived, but it's been a troubled association. Herfod has kept his doubts about Ufrid's motives hidden, but he's certain, because the Goddess subverted Ufrid last autumn, that his lover will soon betray him.
Complicating the situation, Nicky has lost her sense of foresight. Something is going to happen, and Herfod can only hope that he will survive it long enough to keep Ugoth and his angel from destroying Ufrid.

Print: $14.83 He's been locked in a stone for sixty-two years, without body, without the warmth of life, and the one man that means more to him than anything in the world is about to commit suicide. How does a Shadow Master manoeuvre situations to his betterment despite a bodiless existence?
Tehlm Sevet has never been reluctant to exploit people and circumstances, and he's no less reluctant now. However that his beloved Kehfrey has abandoned him to a cold stone at the bottom of a subterranean lake, he will find a way to break free, or bring his unwilling lover to him.
This novel is the tenth in The Soulstone Chronicles.

Print: $15.11 Get the ashes. Get the soulstone. Raise the Shadow Master. It sounds simple enough. However, life is never simple for the beloved teacher of the Ulmeniran gryphon royalty. If Herfod can manage to recover from his near destruction at the hands of a too affectionate infant angel, he'll need to dodge the attention of Ugoth's gryphon forefather, survive a visit from Sticks' sire, appease both Ugoth’s and Jenna’s growing jealousy, and withstand the pressure of the Turamen brotherhood to take up his religious calling again, this despite that he's now married. If he can manage all that, then he'll get that soulstone at last, and provide for the resurrection a container of ashes of questionable origin.
Never let it be said that trouble only comes to Herfod. He’ll foment his own the moment nobody’s watching, and pay back, with an avalanche of disasters, every annoyance perpetrated on him.
