Ministry is never done and the wise (Bible-based) Christian rests before God "makes him lie down" in sickness. I thought a "day of rest" was a "change of activity". But, when God says "rest", He means "rest" not "different activity". Now, I make a serious effort to take a day off from activity, mental and physical, every week. In the 1970’s the doctrine of glossolalia was a hotly debated topic. That is not so today. It is a cold topic. It is a boring, tired, and uninteresting topic of conversation to most.
However, some, among the new generation of churchgoers, are not content to believe what others believe simply because others believe it. These seek to answer the questions about speaking in tongues for themselves, and despite the lack of interest of those of the previous and aging generation, these few have a burning desire to answer the same questions that everyone was discussing in the 1970’s.
Therein, is the purpose of this book.
