Cosmic Cat
A young girl moves to a lonely mountainous country, where she adopts a mysterious blue kitten. In their brief time together, the kitten shows her how to look beyond herself, and teaches her to appreciate the wonders of the starry sky and the world around her.
The spectacular, moody artwork creates a dreamlike atmosphere which you'll long remember. This is a good Christmas book, perfect for any child with a budding interest in astronomy and nature.
The artwork is a mixture of 3D digital images, hand-painted digital artwork, traditionally painted artwork, and digital photography.
"It's like a solar eclipse: you don't know how magical it is until you've seen it for yourself." ---David Hardy

Cosmic Cat: a Musical Suite
When I set out to make a video version of my Cosmic Cat children's book, I needed some dreamy, eerie original music. Therefore I bought a MIDI keyboard and began to fool around. The resulting music would be a good accompaniment for stargazers of any level of expertise (but not in public...not everyone will like it), and also good for imagining your consciousness is careening through space on your own voyage of discovery. Others may feel this is the kind of music they would expect to hear while coming out of general anesthesia.
