Hi ! Welcome to my store. At the moment, I have two published books. The first is The Maths Notebook. I wrote the book as a legacy for my two sons (you know how it is, set it all down on paper before the old brain gives up the ghost!) but then thought to publish it. Hey, it wasn't that hard to do ! If you like the sort of maths books you buy at the airport before a holiday - something that is interesting to dip in and out of, but isn't too taxing - then this might be for you. You need to have a basic understading of maths but I have tried to make it user-friendly; some of the topics are degree level but shouldn't come across as such. I hope you enjoy it but, either way, email me your comments. Inspired by The Maths Notebook, my second book follows the Adventures of Hector Del Fuego Magellan, the fictitious grandson of Ferdinand Magellan, the explorer. It's a children's storybook aimed at ages 6 to 12 (or so) - ideal for bedtime reading! Follow Hector and his crew as they battle all sorts of sea creatures, find treasure, explore lost lands and have a merry old time along the way. But watch out for the squid that follows the boat ... Book three is about to be started (which will again head in a different direction from my previous scribblings). More of this shortly. All comments and suggestions on the books are welcome!
