We are a group of Air Force families that have come together thanks to the World Wide Web. Our children joined the Air Force and we looked online to find support and information. Not only did we find support, but we connected and found something even more valuable - friends.

All of us who are family of military have one thing in common. One day we said goodbye to our loved ones as they headed off for military training. Our children have tried and eaten foods we never dreamed they would eat. Yet, on their minds and in their dreams is that favorite meal from home.

Sometime down the road, that young woman or young man returns home on leave. The first thing Mom or Dad does when they find out the date of the homecoming is plan the food. We welcome them home with open arms, and you can bet the scent of a good home cooked meal is filling the air.

We’ve put together some of our family favorites to share.

Many of us will be picking up an extra copy of this recipe book to give to our military family members. Mainly we are Air Force families, but several have children serving in more than one branch of the United States Military. We are very proud of each and every one of you and your military service to our country!!!
