AINSLEY DIAZ San Franciscan born Ainsley’s been singing and dancing as long as she can remember and can think of nothing else she wants to do. Ainsley wrote her first song in San Francisco, California after the earthquake of 1989 ‘When the Earthquake Came’. Ainsley also spent some formative years in Wellington New Zealand and today lives in Melbourne, Australia. Her musical influences are diverse and include Jewel and John Lennon but she’s a big rock fan at heart! And the likes of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bryan Adams appeal to her also. Like many young artists, she participated in every school performance possible; musicals, variety nights, presentation nights and festivals. Ainsley also played trumpet and violin in the school orchestra. After finishing high school and VCE (Victorian Certificate Of Education)-(Australian equivalent to US High School Diploma) at sixteen years old, she persued her dream by attending a performing arts academy where she developed and enhanced her singing abilities. Ainsley’s studies there included Singing, Dancing, TV Film and Theatre Acting, Fencing and Fight Choreography. Ainsley has also had many appearances on Spanish TV –Channel 31 and Cable TV Fox and was one of the supporting acts for the Chilean Idol Winner on his tour to Australia in 2004. Now nineteen, Ainsley is currently working towards her debut album, writing songs, playing guitar, piano and training in dance covering Ballet, Jazz, Funk/Hip Hop, Lyrical,Tap & Acrobatics. Ainsley’s ulimate dream is to be singing on stage to a huge crowd who love her music,she says: “that would be the best feeling, to be doing what I love most and be touching people at the same time” Ainsley’s current goal is to perform regularly in front of as many people as possible,gather a following and produce a successful album that shows what she can do and who she is through her music.
