Neil Sullivan
Nearing 50 years of age, I have been playing chess for over 35 years. I am married, with 2 step-children and 2 cats.
My spare time is spent teaching chess, reading and losing Boggle games to my wife. It's her revenge for putting up with the chess book collection.
I am quite pleased with the way the book turned out. The process was arduous, but incredibly satisfying. I sincerely hope that it will show others that creating a book should not be viewed as an activity for a select few.
Chessville.com reviewed the book. You may see their evaluation through this link: http://chessville.com/reviews/ChessStruggleMySelectedGamesandUnorthodoxChess.htm Feel free to contact me directly about the book at the e-mail address below.

Chess is a Struggle: My Selected Games
I have been playing tournament chess for over 30 years and my FIDE, CFC and FQE ratings are in the 2100s. In this book, I annotate 50 games from my tournament play. They were played against opponents ranging in strength from 'A' class to International Master.
I believe that, despite being far from GM quality, games played at this level can be instructive and entertaining. It is chess as most of us play it; imperfect, yet interesting despite the flaws.
This book grew from my chess notebooks, and represents two years of work. I hope that it might inspire others to put out their own book.
