AGE OF MIRACLES - October 2007

LIGHT SHIFT - January 2007

Welcome to the homepage of Fevvers Press and author/editor Annie Boyle. Please check out our books and info, and let us know what you think! Especially if you read the books...

"I really appreciate all the encouragement, especially from such professionals as uber-comic writer John Kovalic, creator of Dork Tower and other wonderful things; and the kind words from comic/graphic novel maestro (and also the best writer "Lost" has ever had) Brian K. Vaughan." - AKB

Annie Boyle lives in Salem, Massachusetts with her husband and two cats.
Her poetry has appeared in the ever-edgy Thieves Jargon, Waxing & Waning, The Outer Rim/Mercuric, and other publications.

The July-September 2007 issue of Chiaroscuro features one of her poems as well. It can be read here, and the rest of the magazine is definitely worth checking out as well.

Science-fiction in poetry - the classical muse is not left behind in our technological advances and demands of the future, though she may manifest a little differently.

47 pieces of free verse and structured poetry, telling stories of our human path: A cheating magician, a cryptic departure, programmable reproductions of long-dead literary giants, space exploration - the lover's cling of the past, the shock of a future not quite as predicted, and the curious nook of the present.

"The multiplicity of Annie Boyle: she is a classicist, a romantic and a futurist all in one." - Matt DiGangi, editor, Thieves Jargon

Delving into darkness and facing luminescence, balancing on the edges, redefining shadow and sunlight. Themes within these pages stretch to the fantastic and gothic, meeting fairy tale twists and punches of reality.

This is the first collection of poetry available to the public by Ms. Boyle. These 42 pieces make up a wide-ranging collection of lyric poetry, free verse, and structured works.

Included are the lauded "America Lies", "Serenade", and "Spiderwebs", along with other published pieces and many poems published for the first time here.
