Disc: $8.00 It came to pass that the artist had the opportunity to record at the studio of the very talented former Byrds member John York, four songs. It begins with a primal call, then a bulerias al andaluz followed by a celebrative rumba, and ending with a return to the bulerias al andaluz. The artist has learned allot about music from John, whose grounding in arabic music, and mastery of the oud has been key to the development of some of the pieces presented.

Disc: $8.00 Other than a tango, and a soleares, all of the pieces on this work are rumbas, usually with the same melodies, but each very different in feeling and different in the parts improvised. They all portray the folkloric west.

Disc: $6.75 A collection of instrumental flamenco pieces, mainly tangos, which are a medium paced meter of four, often accompanied by hawaiian hand drum and Indian drone instrument, the tanpura, and even in one instance, played with a bluesy feel. A common theme to some pieces is the mystery latent in the primal origins of humankind, or a tango with the feel of a natural fandango. Some pieces are inspired by gypsy music, others by Indian music, and still others by arabic or jewish music, while others have a rich mixture of all of these cultures and the approach to them all is of a Spanish philosophy. For the artist, the tango represents the life rythm of the chaparral environment of Southern California, where the citrus and pomogranet grow, and the coyote and hawk reside.
