It's a pleasrue for me having you visit my website and previewing my novels. The stories are unique, entertaining and highly emotional...as well as fun and enlightening. They offer up powerful images of smart, tough, gripping characters, postering and mixing wild and wooly melodramatic scenes with grit and elegance. My stories are fiction, but seem real while you read the buzz between the pages.
I currently have three novels published; KISSING FREUD, DUBROVNIK & IT'S ALL MAKE BELIEVE, ISN'T IT?
Thanks for visiting. Below are descriptions of my novels.
In KISSING FREUD, where there are webs of mystery in the daily life of a psycho ward, three psychotherapists appear as dysfunctional as their mentally challenged patients. Nate Sullivan’s survival, a newly committed patient, is based on confronting his family history and two other voices in his head, which expose haunting secrets meant to remain recessive.
DUBROVNIK spins with cultural conflicts, robust characters and rock-ribbed stamina. The old walled-in city of Dubrovnik is an immensely rich, magical paradise as the backdrop. This isn’t a story about war. It's a legend about friendship and love, lyrical images and palpable situations.
IT’S ALL MAKE BELIEVE, ISN’T IT? challenges Martin’s kinetically balanced social integration when Marilyn Monroe's highly charged sexuality attempts to steal his identity. A centralized humanistic theme of survival emerges, no matter what the costs; either Martin’s life or Marilyn’s…again.
In the absence of a precedent of human reintegration, Martin could respond with fear—or a mixture of fear and apprehension, loneliness and embarrassment, even shame and rejection. There was no guiding light for how he might react. There were physiological repercussions where life and art mirrored each other, where commonness and celebrity clashed, even so, Martin’s life turned inside out when Marilyn’s life arrived, resounding inside of Martin’s head and rebounding from a tortuous past that needed to be stitched back together.
Thanks for stopping by. Please tell your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers that they can preview and purchase my novels at this site; www.lulu.com/bencampbell.
