  1. I will admit to some skepticism. Linking to other sites if fine–page rank is not eveything. And Wikpedia really hates people trying to use it for promotional reasons. I just wonder if this advice is based on empirical evidence or just the usual fads like book trailers (seriously, who buys a book based on what they see on youtube).

    @ Veinglory – I have personally purchased quite a few books after seeing the book trailers. Here are just a few really great ones:
