About the Contest
The 2008 NCBF Photo Contest is made possible by Lulu.com, the world's premier self-publishing and print-on-demand web site.
This year the contest will feature two categories: Best Festival Scenery Photo and Best Festival Event Photo. Scenery photos may include, but are not limited to, cherry blossoms, springtime, Washington D.C. and the Japanese influence on the festival. Event photos may include photos of the parade, street festival, Tidal Basin performances, fireworks or any other NCBF events.
Judges will select one Grand Prize winner from each category. Entries will be judged based on creativity, image quality and the photographer's representation of the category. Photographers of any skill level are welcome to participate.
