Ms. Louise Harper
I try all sorts of new things. New ways of saying old truths, using a variety of forms. I am a poet, a short story writer, a humorist and I am co author of three stage plays, one of which has been performed.

The Sisterhood
Some secrets are never told. Countless women suffer cruel abuse in silence at the hands of those they love most; their husbands.
These women are...The Sisterhood.
I wrote the poems based on personal experiences and on those experiences told to me by many other women. Listen as I read their stories and perhaps you'll better understand their pain and despair.
Quoting the ending of the poem, which carries hope.
"The Sisterhood all knows the shame, invisible, yet real. The sister, hidden, has no name, yet she is made of steel!"
