  Livin' a Hard Life

The story behind the song by Brando Quin—When I was about five years old I had climbed onto and then fallen off a roof, cracking my head open. This caused a Traumatic Brain Injury not diagnosed until 2006. Allot of people have told me since that fall, that I would never be nothing. This song is reminiscent of feeling, that I’ll never be nothing until I’m dead. The #6 award winning song (Awards: Track of the Day on 24Aug2007 in Blues Rock Most Original in Blues Rock, week of 20Aug2007) featuring Brando Quin, Producer John Mahoney, Todd Larsen, Tim Sadow, Michele Sarrett, Dan King, Humanjones, Ted Hale and Tom Krummenacker. Latest Review--"LOVE THIS! THE VOCALIST ON THIS SONG IS WONDERFUL AND IS HURTING TELLING HIS STORY. THIS SONG IS VERY UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT WHICH MAKES THIS SONG A KEEPER...THE SAX GIVES THE SONG A NICE DYNAMIC. GIVES A LITTLE TOM WAITES OR EVEN DYLAN. THIS IS A GREAT SONG. YOU GET 5/5 FROM ME."-- JohnCrawford101 from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

  Rainy Sunday.MP3

This is a Looped Blues progression on Guitar in the key of A 54BPM. A great back-up track for practicing solo and lead. Two files are included. The smaller, standard file will repeat seamlessly and indefinitely through readily available software such as iTunes and Audacity. For iTunes pull down the "Controls" menu and set to "Repeat One" . For Audacity hold down the SHIFT key when you hit PLAY and it will loop. Note that most MP3 players are not predictable because of the slight irregular delay they provide when repeating. This may cause a break in tempo when using the smaller file. Therefore, the larger, pre-looped file may be used with no break in tempo if you want to burn it to a CD or use an MP3 player. The pre-looped file loops for a minimum of 5 minutes. Download these and practice with them. Watch for more loops coming from guitarloopslive.com as well as some practice suggestions. These are MP3 audio files.
