James Bernard Unreleased Works 1994-1999 contains 28 tracks in total, over 3 hours of my unreleased music. UW A01 - A10 are 10 ambient tracks from 1994-1996 which do not have any beats (except for maybe some percussion). UW B01 - B09 are ambient and downtempo tracks which have beats and were recorded from 1996-1997. UW C01 - C09 are downtempo and ambient tracks with beats and also some modular synth experiments that were recorded from 1998-1999. The title track "New Life" highlights the classic Roland TB-303 twisting along on glitchy drum beats. "One More Makes Two" sounds like a cross between Chopin and a Commodore 64 computer from the 1980's. And the Segue tracks are more like mini songs than segues. This is a perfect album for playing in the background while working, relaxing, sleeping, eating, breathing.... a soundtrack for your life.
