If Jesus has told you, "Let's go to the other side," and a storm hits, don't respond like the disciples did. Go down into the bottom of the boat and do like Jesus did -- GO TO SLEEP. If Jesus said it, it will come to pass. Minister Chris Williams was born on September 29, 1973 at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood, CA to Ada and Rev. Charles Williams, and his brother, Jon. He graduated from Los Angeles Lutheran High School in 1990, after which he joined the United States Navy as an Electrician's Mate, staying in for six years. He made his home at his last duty station in Jacksonville, FL, where he now resides with his wife, Priscilla and his three children. He is an associate minister at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church under the pastoring of Drs. Rudolph McKissick Sr. and Jr., where he teaches a New Disciples Ministry class on the book of Ephesians and plays percussion for the Youth Fellowship Choir. He is also the founder of UPLIFT!, an inspirational e-mail ministry and co-founder of the Elements in Christ, which engage in various ministry works. He is currently working on his B.S. in Theology through Liberty University. This is his first venture as an author and he hopes that there will be many more.

Thoughts From A Contemplative Christian
This book stems from a daily inspirational message that was sent out through e-mail. It is a compilation of those messages, which blessed a small number of people in an e-mail group. Now it can bless you as well! With messages that will lift you up, challenge you, and draw you closer to God as you walk with Him day by day, this book will touch your heart, mind, and soul.
