Printed: 115 pages, 6" x 9", perfect binding, black and white interior ink Description:Gene McVay brings a diverse background as a factory worker, Intelligence Analyst at The National Security Agency, a global qualified aircraft commander on the C-141 Starlifter, a career fighter pilot and commander of a three billion dollar multinational provisional wing followed by a test of the political waters as a candidate for governor running against presidential hopeful, Mike Huckabee. Tighten your G suit and prepare to become a better manager as you enter the poignant human world of an old veteran as he relates principles that propelled him upward through the ranks to power and respect. No head of state or chief executive officer is so high that they can afford to stop learning. No arsenal is so complete that a secret weapon can be discarded. No repertoire is so perfect that it cannot use some spit and polish. The book is not about perfection but persistence and compassion. Few soar to the very top, but you can enjoy the journey and unashamedly feel contentment when the battle is over. Keywords:Listed in: |

I was happily impressed with the honest frankness of the Author. This is a book that I would read and share. I can also see me slipping a copy to some of my ex-bosses.
If your Employees are happy then they will work. Managing isn't about control over others as most people in this position believe. A good Manager knows how to get others to produce the work that is needed, and it sounds like this Author knows how to do that.
I would recommend this as reading for all people in this area, and it would probably help Business Owners as well.
Thanks, DK
