I've now been to Vegas twice since our trip and it can never compare. He nailed it absolutely. A great memoir and I am honored that I shared the time with him and our other underfed poet-fools. I recommend it, highly! An unbiased review of course...I keep ordering them for friends!
This is an excellent read! really enjoyed relaxing and reading this in one sitting. Laughed out loud at points and the book made me think at others. Highly recommended.
Michael Lites is a great friend and a great writer. A hard working family man who deserves to be heard and loudly. I went to Vegas with him and his wife last year for a poetry reading, which is what the story is about. If it's dedicated to Hunter S. Thompson how can you go wrong? I loved Tweak Side and I know I will love this book too. I haven't received it yet, but i think being there counts. I am going to Vegas again next week but i know that trip will be forever unmatched, etched in my brain like so much lsd (not that i took any though, didnt have to, with those two and our other crazy companion, Brian Morrisey). Had a blast, love you guys!
