The only major side effect of a war that managed to wipe out much of the planet's population was the result of the Psyche Virus. Intended to kill during the war, it instead redefined the limits of body, mind, and soul.

Once upon a time Jason and Michelle knew that when there were problems they could turn to the Doctor for help. But now that he's seemingly changed his plans for the Center entirely, they start to fear for their lives.
