I randomly ran into Bluebison on the internet a few years ago, and I was instantly hooked. Not only was I grabbed by the cuteness of the characters and the hilarious randomness of the stories, I was also inspired to design my own cartoons, in part greatly influenced by Roberts. I think his work should be a daily or weekly cartoon in the Los Angeles or New York Times. Right next to Calvin and Hobbes, especially in terms of the cuteness factor. Heck, I'm a girl. I can't help admitting to cuteness! I would just drool over the pictures. Hayes Roberts' work also inspired me to publish on Lulu.com!

Hayes Roberts's books are pure genius, and his illustrations are unique and amazing. I'm a 5th grade teacher, and I can't wait to use his books in my classroom to teach my students about plot and conflict.

A great book that will have parents chuckling and children smiling. It may even teach a lesson or two along the way.
