An Engaging High-Tech SciFi Story

I'm a big fan of high-tech science fiction & "In the Beginning" held its own very well with some of my other favorites in that subgenre. The story takes place in a near future and makes effective use of Spindizzy-like antigravity technology, AI entities with an attitude and some Retief-style humor/satire to capture the reader's interest and keep the story interesting.

A very entertaining Lulu story, Ben Gardner. Thanks!

Rarely does SF that happens during our lifetime take off. There is nothing here that is "out of this world" or "beyond comprehension". Mr. Gardner has woven a tale that is not just believable, but probable, taking place in the forseeable future.

By incorporating known science, this book not just foretells the future, but chronicles it.
