EEDC’07, the First Workshop on Execution Environments for Distributed Computing, held at the Technical University of Catalonia. Eight papers were accepted and include topics related with the new Master course Execution Environments for Distributed Computing (EEDC). EEDC course belongs at the master of Research in Computer Architecture, Networks and Systems (CANS) as a result of the reform of university courses at UPC within the framework of the European Higher Education Area.
