I ordered 2 photo books and 1 photo calendar.
The quality was bad in all of them.
I think this is a disgrace and goes beyond the odd rotten apple. I was considering publishing my own books through Lulu but changed my mind after seeing this.
My sample of this book contains for example several pages with green color casts in b&w images.

An impressive first book, let down by a paperback binding, below-average printing, and paper stock too light for a fine-art project such as this. Lulu, you need to offer higher quality production and finishing.
Despite missing the cut for this book, I just had to buy it so that I could "own" a copy of some of my favourite RFF gallery images, by my faviourite RFF photographers.
The layout of the book is just perfect - very understated - not the least bit distracting from the photographs, which stand front and center. The facing page text supplied by the photographers makes this more than just a book of pretty pictures - there's a real bunch of photo-philosophers on RFF and it makes for a good read.
Upon showing this book to my local photoclub, it was unanimous that we had to produce a book too. In less than a year we put out own RFF-clone book on Lulu (check under nnphotoclub).
Now I'm happy to find out a 2nd volume has just been announced with even more photographers (including me) this time!
