Angela edited Part One of the book and I was very pleased with this so I used the service for Part Two - the conclusion, but I submitted the both parts and Angela was kind enough to go over the first part again - which had changes - even though I hadn't asked her to. So I have no problem recommending her service. Surely the best value for money on Lulu.

I used Angela Hooper’s editing service to edit my book, “Airport Graffiti (& Confessions of a Recovering Chef),” and it was magnificent. I was very satisfied and amazed at how thorough Angela was with my book. My wife is a pretty good grammarian herself and was working on it in her spare time but I knew she couldn’t give it the attention a professional would. The problem I had was I didn’t know who to go to, but then I read Angela’s reviews and I took a chance. It turned out to be the right decision, and the work she did was outstanding. Angela did a basic edit of my book,"The New Radio Receiver Building Handbook". She was thorough and I was very pleased with the $150 service. She agreed to work with a PDF file that she didn't like. She prefers MS Word. The work that was promised in three weeks was completed in about one week. Other editors wanted up to a thousand dollars to do the same job.

This service was an excellent value. Angela is courteous, responsive, timely and, most important, she found far more errors than I expected. I would recommend her to anyone, even experienced authors.

I've just been proofing my new book, O'SULLIVANS' HILL. Angela Hooper was kind enough to edit it for me and what a great job she did. You all know how it goes. You read and re-read your work so many times that you begin to see what should be there instead of what really is!
Angela's fresh eye caught whatever I had missed. Including changing the gender a couple of times of a main character. And he wasn't one that would appreciate being called a "girlie man"! Typos, quotation marks, action suggestions to replace some passive sections, (the all important show don't tell), and some time line discrepancies were all caught by Angela. She also made some suggestions regarding character building.
All in all, it was not only a great help, it made the book so much more readable and enjoyable. We had a good laugh about a couple of Brit versus Yank English terms, and compromises were reached without bloodshed!
