Dr. Fair's wealth of experience as a police chaplain includes working with the witnesses and victims of several high profile “hot spots.” His first such assignment was to coordinate the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing for 90 employees of the Killeen (TX) Police Department after the lunchtime massacre that occurred there in 1991. More recently, he spent a week with with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey during the rescue and recovery operations at Ground Zero in the aftermath of 9-11, and counseled on-site with NASA employees involved in the grid searches of the debris field left in the wake of the Columbia explosion.
