Description:

This is the first time my many atheistic essays have been gathered into a single volume. Taken collectively, the book amounts to a comprehensive look at the philosophy and practice of atheism. Some of my papers summarize excellent talks given by guest speakers at Humanist meetings. Enjoying life to the full while we can is central to my own Humanistic principals, but we must never neglect the needs of others. There are controversial essays here too, such as those on the death of Princess Diana, and my clash with the cult of Siloism, which itself claims to be a Humanism society. Some of my articles gained unexpected but welcome media attention, such as the Freemasonry feature. Many illustrious figures get a great deal of attention here; Alan Turing, Charles Darwin, and Thomas Paine among them. I hope that what follows will entertain and inform you of the range and scope of what it can mean not to believe in God. There is a list of books and websites for further study at the end of the collection.
