Reflections on Carshalton

This really is a most pleasing book. It captures the essence of a fine old English village (now swallowed up in the suburbia of London but still retaining much beauty and charm)
The choice of illustrations is excellent and they are finely repoduced in colour.The poems are very well chosen and are a perfect compliment. Some are 19th century artisan penned and are truly hilarious.
