I wrote this in Adelaide, South Australia when I 'moved' back there for a couple of months for a bit of R&R (I was exhausted after many adventures). I soon got bored, and this song expresses this - and then my long suffering ex broke up with me for the last time and I lost my job on the same day - I was back in Melbourne the next day!
