Description:The Cold Invasion is the process whereby the West is slowly but surely being invaded by millions of immigrants from its former colonies, and this invasion can be seen as a cold one because of its non-violent nature, the way in which the West welcomes it and is not fully aware of the practical nature and consequences this invasion will have in the long run. While some minor stylistic issues exist (occasional sentences without verbs, over-use of the conditional "would", spelling of "Marcus Aurelius") this is a hugely ambitious book and one which, judging from the preview, succeeds admirably. The central thesis appears to be that the hunter (Western civilisations) has become the hunted, through the reverse colonisation of the West by people from its former colonies. It is indeed hard to argue abainst the truth of this assertion. But then the question is: what, if anything, can or should be done about this?
The author lives in South Africa, a state which for centuries has been forced to confront the dilemma of how different races and cultures may co-exist, with varying degrees of success over time. He is therefore very well placed to discuss these (potentially explosive) issues. Good work!
