Description:Christine Whitmore has 2 unforgettable experiences and recalls a lesson from Biology in this very short story. Parts of this story were inspired from a true event from my childhood - yes that actually happened and yes it was disgusting! Keywords:Listed in: |

A true occurance but when is the lesson learned.
Is it to early in her young life to make the connection to biology at age eleven? Certainly in high school she's taken the biology class and this is where the "spontaneous generation" connection is made.

In this short tale of a child who learns that there is sometimes more to juicy fresh fruit than meets the eye, Jennifer Fox manages to inject a very mild does of horror
( and humour to some ) into her otherwise hunky dory 'Let's all play in Grandad's big house and garden' type tale. Sometimes 'Ye reap what ye sow' has a little extra to take on board.
Good.
