This is the UK version of the 2008 Knit and Stitches calendar, showing all the usual UK yearly events and holidays. It is presented in a coil-bound colour booklet, which you turn on its side to hang up as a calendar. Apart from photos of the original knitted textile designs (one for every month plus one each on the front and back cover) created by Linda Jackson of Artika Designs, knitting and stitching enthusiasts can take advantage of the accompanying charts which they can use to re-create the designs at home for personal use. Every design comes with its own chart. Designs include tartans, Art Deco, optical illusions, patchwork designs, contemporary abstract designs and others.
