"With Their Tiny Hands" is an experience to be enjoyed by those big and tiny alike. It explores the idea that every accomplishment, no matter how large or small, reflects our personal strength, determination, and the attitude with which we choose to live our daily lives. Lucy pounds on her little plastic piano frequently, and she loves music, so I had to get this book for her. This is by far my favorite children's book on Lulu. Liliane did an awesome job on the illustrations as well.

I can't wait until Maggie's new books come out.

Even though the father is a little grumpy at first, this charming story displays how the "old man" just might come around if he is continually bombarded with polite optimism.

The illustration are beautifully crafted and the story is one that will be a favorite for families of all sizes and backgrounds.

Reminds me so much of my oldest daughter and her dealings with her son and daughter. Treats them like people with full-sized feelings along with their tiny hands and feet.

Wonderfully captures how a family should be.

“With Their Tiny Hands” is a cautionary tale of what can happen when a family owns a fine instrument like an upright piano and uses it as a junk drawer. The next thing you know you’re watching too many reruns of “Everybody Loves Raymond and voting Republican. Writer Maggie Pagratis spins a sweet family tale for the kiddies and Liliane Grenier does a beautiful job with her illustrations; and I found myself strangely attracted to the hot mom with the mission to rearrange the family room furniture.

..."What a beautiful story for children"...in his most impressed voice of course...
With the help of an unusually talented artist; a gorgeous Greek mother, a helpful son, and an adorable daughter (all three from the real world) lend credence to this delightful tale that should be read to all children by their own "literary discerning and appreciative" mothers.
Well done (as always) Maggie...!

I have long thought that Liliane Grenier and Maggie Pagratis are the most adept team of illustrator/authors I have run across on Lulu and "Tiny Hands" only serves to reinforce this opinion. They have managed to transform something as mundane as the moving of a piano across a room into a genuine journey for both the children and their parents, with more rewards at the end than simply having rearranged furniture. Told in Pangratis' economical prose and Grenier's luminous illustrations, the words and story are simple enough for children too young to read on their own and engaging enough for early readers.
Great Job...
