Great job Tracy. Treasured memories of time spent with friends, competitors, participants and chance meetings. Gay Games has something to offer everyone and this is beautifully displayed in your book. See you in Cologne 2010.

As someone who has been to every Gay Games, and bought all 7 now of the commemorative books (no matter how good or bad they were), this one surpasses even my favorite, the Lisa Labrecq Unity 1994 Commemorative Book.

Granted there were vast technical & financial enhancements at Tracy's disposal since 1994, the final product was even more true to the Gay Games mission of... Inclusion, Pariticpation, & Personal Best.

The photos are of exquisite quality, there are lots more of them, and they cover the entire diversity of the particpants and their events. The participants and their events easily are 75% of the 206 glossy pages. The rest is devoted to ceremonies, celebrities, staff, politicos, and history (as it should be).

I am so biased, there were 2 pages of 20 pictures of wrestling!!! YEAH!

If Games Koeln 2010 is reading this, they have a great template to emulate. I would only add one minor item, and that would be to resurrect what Labrecq did for each event.... a short moving commentary of the event by the one of the competitors to go with the photos. I could have given any of the tear-jerking emails I received to preface the wrestling page.

Thanks for making me proud of the Gay Games.

As one of the photographers lucky enough to participate - I wish I could thank each and every one of the rest of the incredible artists that contributed to this book!

I met photographers from all over the country and your dedication, skill and artistry are what make this a true "book of art." Thank you all!!!

Thank you Tracy - and EVERYONE that worked so hard to make the Gay Games Chicago a successful event. This book is just a small testimony to all the hard work bu hundreds of volunteers and staff!!

Thank you all!

Having seen commemorative books for every Gay Games, this one is one of the best, with comprehensive photos of every event, including athletes from around the world, plus celebrities, great action shots and crowd scenes.

A talented crew of photographers gets a great showcase in this terrific book, which rivals the Gay Games IV (New York, 1994) commemorative book in its large scale, accuracy and colorful picture-packed design.

Well done, Tracy!
