Description:9/11 Vigilantes tells the action-packed story of the reaction of ordinary Americans to the senseless slaughter on September 11, 2001. Although fiction, much of 9/11 Vigilantes is based on actual post 9/11 events. The story is told by Ryan, a teenager in a small western resort town whose father is the local Sheriff, but this definitely isn't Opie in Mayberry. Following 9/11, the concerned citizens of Hermosa are up in arms about the failure of law enforcement to stop illegal immigration and protect them from terrorists. Street justice—the kind dispensed by vigilantes and militias—is preferable to no justice whatsoever. Ride with Ryan Romero and his posse as they pursue an al-Qaeda terrorist across the vast expanse of the High Desert. Listed in: |
