All the cars bypass "Ox's Place" when the new highway opens and Chef Ox, a retired wrestler turned cook, finds his 50's diner business devastated without traffic. With all the food left over and no one to sell it to, Chef Ox whips up a fantastic dinner when two lost, hungry strangers who have been traveling for a long, long time arrive at his doorstep with no money. "Ox's Place" is a science-fiction comedy about a regular guy who is soon transported with his entire diner to an asteroid in a heavily traveled space lane when the two travelers who love his cooking realize he has no customers and decide to correct the situation. In its new location, "Ox's Place" thrives attracting all sorts of "different" clients including an evil invading force. Chef Ox is soon called upon to save the Universe armed only with his courage, an assortment of very strange friends and a really big spatula!
