I began cooking when I was about 25. My wife Cath likes some of the things I make. At 38, when my daughter Emily was born, I decided to leave some of my recipes for her. As the years went by she, like her Mum, would probably get used to eating them. Perhaps Emily would like to cook them once she'd left home. Hence the book.
