Description:

Alice L. Walters Wallace - is a Florida-raised, privileged, educated and lovely young woman in 1940. Yet, over the next 67 years she endured numerous personal illnesses, family deaths and four different husbands within a dozen years. She questioned herself, why such dreadful and terrible things continually happened to her and those around her. She always remained the tower of strength for everyone. Her friends and family alike agreed Alice appeared to be the invincible woman, the unflinching rock or harbor, where a person felt secure. Surrender to fate was not how she approached life. Living life to its fullest; whether being a pilot, model, businesswoman or nurse, she attempted it all. Her life is an inspiration to countless people and she has taught by example. The phrases, “Why me?” or “I can not do this!” have never been a part of her vocabulary. Alice is a “can do” person, one with eternal passion, drive and endurance. This is her story.
