This work is a highly accessible virtuosic multi-mallet concerto. The six movements cover a wide variety of styles and sound worlds. The off-stage percussion parts (2 players) are each for chimes and almglocken (all may be played on chimes if need be). Duration: ca. 20:00. Strings: viola I, viola II, cello I, cello II, bass.
