On November 13th, 2005, artist Kristin Abraham, and musician, Alfonso Llamas, set out on a yearlong journey across America. Living and working out of a bright orange Honda Element, this husband and wife team explored all fifty states. While this may sound like an extended vacation, these two artists had a purpose for their grand excursion. In fact, their purpose was very specific: they wished to unite an entire nation through art. Enter into this journey, coined The Nomadic Project, and experience all fifty paintings that were displayed separately in each of the fifty states. Providing further insight into the art and adventure are excerpts taken from Abraham’s journal.
