This is a personal, behind the scenes look by Mary Turner about a time in Palm Springs when her husband was taking pictures of famous movie stars, and entertainers. You get to see another side of the beautiful people who appear in Cal's terrific photos. It is well written by two charming people who have many interesting stories to tell. It's a joy to look at and to read.

What a wonderful, informative, and entertaining book with WONDERFUL photographs - many of which have never been seen before. Anyone who has ever spent a rainy Saturday afternoon watching the CLASSIC movies of Hollywoods hayday or followed these famous starlets and stars on the silver sceen owes it to themselves to display a copy of this BEAUTIFUL book on their COFFEE TABLE or BOOKSHELF. Makes for some fine Summer Reading, too. I can't wait to see the Movie on HBO this FALL. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this one to be sure!
