Hilarious! Some useful recipes too but mainly it is a clever, funny and nostalgic read. Kudos to the sisters Dyer!!
Get this book. Catherine went North and found some hoity-toity New Yawhk recipes and dragged them back south in her carpet bag to go along with her sister's last minute, life saving, mission accomplished, meals on wheels. The Dyer Cult will produce another one I hope. Dyer Paradise.

I am happy to know one of them - funny, entertaining and my kind of cooking! jn4377@yahoo.com
This is a handy, helpful and amusing little cookbook. If I can make these recipes than ANYONE can...I too, am a co-author, so naturally I think this cookbook is fabulous!

Hysterical! And practical. There are lots of recipes even I would use. The fact that I happen to be one of the co-authors has nothing to do with my raving review. I am absolutely objective.
