This is a charming and engaging tale that children will love, beautifully illustrated with drawings that will bring the story to life for its young audience. Both boys and girls will be able to relate to the little boy, and it is a book they will want to read again and again.
The book is charming, both the text and the watercolor illustrations. The story is simple and appealing. Eventually people, after getting excited, move on to find other things to "fix" and the little boy enjoys another day. The vivid splash and movement of the watercolors adds a vibrant visual dimension to the book.
