Description:

This is a true story about my years as a runaway "flower child" during the years from 1964 to 1969. It also includes the true story about my extremely violent childhood at the hands of a very sadistic and cruel alcoholic father, who drove me away from home at the age of 14, by nearly murdering me! I ran away and soon became a "Ken Kesey electric cool-aid acid test Hippie" and I then traveled extensively throughout the US, Canada and Mexico during the 1960's. I experienced many notable and interesting adventures along the way. I was also in the Haight Ashbury during the "Summer of Love" turning on, tuning in and dropping out! I write about all of that and more in this book. If you'd like to see some videos I created using stop-frame animation, of my own original music, please go to: www.youtube.com/androidstar

If ever a book painted a vivid picture of life in the sixties for a "troubled" teen...this is it. Heart wrenching, comical, dramatic, and exciting...this is a true tale that can be appreciated no matter what era you come from. The author does an excellent job of making you feel like you are right there beside him on his travels. I truly enjoyed this read, and look forward to seeing more.
