I truly enjoyed this book, I first purchased a book by Jayha Leigh (Wild, Wild Mess: Atlanta) Which I loved also and I wanted to find other books by her. Then I came across her website and found she wrote with Jeanie Johnson so I purchase Hot Like Fire and it was wonderful!!!! I am waiting for the other books to come out. This is a great writing team.

Hot Like Fire is a mix of tradition and innovation. Tradition cause it's the story of our everyday woman, strong and interesting, but not overwhelming beautiful, who finds the perfect man who will love her forever and will treat her like a goddess. Innovation cause it's pretty hot and erotic and sex is very good but it's also almost hard-core.



Samson and Mariana meets in a dream resort, and from the first time he sees her, Samson knows to have found the woman of his life. He only has to convince Mariana of the same thing, and overcome the fear she has of not being enough "woman" to satisfy her man.



Samson, our hero, maybe is not a man you can find in real life, cause he is too perfect. He is rich and hansome, 6 feet and 9 inches tall, long black hair, father from Portugal and Native American mother, he can see past the phisycal appearance of a woman to her soul. And he is also so sure of himself, that he doesn't fear to display his alpha behaviour.



Mariana is a woman who needs to be loved and needs reassureance on her feminine side. She is a tought woman, but she needs an even tougher man to her side. Mariana is like a lot of modern woman, who wants to be independent, but who also likes to have a Man, with M capital letter, who is not afraid to stay with a woman like her.



Sex is very hot. I'd like to think possible to ever find a such intimacy, but if maybe it's difficult to find in real life, it's good to be able to read it in a book. I have no problem to say that Hot Like Fire has touched so many soft spots in me, cause it talks truth to many women like me.

I've read tons of erotic romance books. And this one would be one of my all time favorites. My thing is about it being REAL. And this one is, its hot as hell to! Hope the next one upcomming is even better. Keep it up girls and keep it REAL. No one wants boring in our DREAM MEN!!! Its my addiction, but i guess there is worst things to be addicted to.... Thank you two beautiful, wonderful women of color. You have written a book that touched all of my senses. I am familiar with Jayha Leigh's work and was not disappointed. I definitely need to give this book to a couple of brothers that I know, believe me they could only benefit from reading this book.

I am very familiar with the writing of these two ladies; separately they are wonderful but together they are a dynamite team. What they have accomplished with this book is quite simply spectacular! This story is overwhelmingly HOT but at the same time it is also a touching love story. I highly recommend this story and know that you will walk away begging, panting, and wanting more!

I was told by a friend of a friend and I am now the greatest fan of these two ladies!

From beginning to the very last line this is an AMAZING love story and one can't help but love the way Samson LOVES his woman and the way Mariana is literally swept right off her feet and into Samson's arms.

As a woman of today I have no use for a man that is anything like the weak man that Mariana has obviously been involved with before so I've got my eyes, ears and senses wide open just waiting for my very own SAMSON to arrive.
