A simple 12 line newspaper style obituary notice, with full family details (parents + wife + place of marriage, but not names of 5 daughters) plus sketchiest outline of service career. No useful details of circumstances of death in mystery collision at sea between H.M. (armed) Yacht 'Kethailes'(Miramar Index #29,216) and what is suspected to have been another British warship, but this is not confirmed here. Entry is of no real use to the Naval historian. No photo of person concerned. Overpriced for what it is. 'Kethailes'(the 2nd yacht of that name for the same owner) was built as a private 'Gentleman's Steam Yacht' for wealthy Liverpool shipowner William Johnston (the 'Johnston Line', later part of Furness, Withy) in 1903 @ 625 g.r.t by Richardson, Duck & Co., Thornaby-on-Tees, Durham, England. Disappointing :-(
