In attempting to accomplish three tricky goals at once, the author has sadly failed at all of them. This game is neither fast, easy or realistic by comparison to many others in the genre. The system would be simple if it didn't get bogged down in minutiae, it would be fast if some of the fiddly parts were condensed down, but both of these aspects in any case are anathema to realism. The excessively plain single-column format with its copious, COPIOUS amounts of tables also does not make the book easy to refer to, or even to read at length.

On the other hand the author has certainly gone out of his way to include a lot of detail, and including a free download is commendable in the circumstances. Download the free version to see for yourself before you make a purchase.
