Description:

Johannes Mauritz Krieg, better known to the world as Giggles the Clown, was one of the most well-known circus performers of the late-19th/early-20th centuries. He traveled all over the world, training under such notable figures as Harry Houdini and the famous circus clown Charles "Grock" Wettach. He performed in front of the first German Emperor Wilhelm Friedrich Ludwig, and he even served for a brief time in World War I. He thrilled audiences of all ages everywhere with his numerous skills in acrobatics, music, magic and escape. He was responsible for over 250 grisly mutilations on three different continents. This is his story.
