I am currently having the privilege of reading the new, not yet released follow up to Lee Kessler's "White King and the Doctor".
Knowing that the book was written sometime on 2008, I am stunned at the amazingly prophetic description of our current direction, both politically and culturally.
The first 18 chapters have been spellbinding and my mind races with the questions as to why these theories have never been examined with any degree of interest.
When the curtain is pulled back, all pieces of the puzzle line up.
Lee should be a fixture on shows such as Sean Hannity, Rush and Glen Beck.
When I heard, several years ago, that Dick Cheney's company was getting big, juicy rebuilding contracts in Iraq, I wondered where that came from and if it were true. And I was surprised that the opponents of the administration were so vicious and believed everything they heard against it. The true enemy is when we don't look, but just accept anything that feels good to us, whether it is really true or not. That's called prejudice -- prejudging without facts. This book helped me to understand how propaganda works to divide and upset people, instead of seeking the truth so that solutions can be worked out and we can all feel good that we are working for betterment. Sadly, the more people who are on drugs, the easier they will be manipulated by this propaganda. My advice - which was a lesson from this book - look behind the curtain at the man pulling the levers. The truth will keep us free.

Written in the same style of a Frank Peretti or Tim LaHayne novel, "The Doctor and The White Knight" opens the readers eyes and mind as to what the real objective of our enemy is and how the media is simply a pawn of our adversaries.
This book reads like the series "24" views! Once I got started on the book, I was gripped from the opening and couldn't stop.
As someone who averages 36-40 books a year, this has been my favorite of the past two years!!! Can't wait for a movie version! Can I have a bit part?
Lee Kessler shows us very clearly in a most riveting story how we are being taken down by our own ignorance of the real evil subverting the freeist people - Americans first. How cleverly subtle this war continues daily, right here, tearing us apart from one another, from our own integrity and knowledge of right and wrong -- this is that dissention from within that destroys without guns or bombs. We the people, as a whole, are buying these lies to the degree that we are losing what we know is of value and we wonder "what happened to our confidence in the future?"
I strongly urge anyone that wants to become part of the solution needs the information in this so called fiction book. It is a must for those who care.

Literally torn from today's headlines. Confused about the war on terror. Who is who and what is what? Reading the phenomenal novel by Lee Kessler will not only clarify everything but keep you riveted in your seat throughout
the entire read. This story NEEDS to be made into a movie. Unfortunately the major studios won't produce it
and the mainstream media won't review it!! Better read
the book now while it's still able to be published.

Awesome! Had trouble putting it down. I am totally impressed at Lee Kessler's talent and ability to take such a difficult subject of terrorism, get deep into the thought process and mindset of the terrorist and weave such a magnificent suspense novel based on current and historical events.
Lee put together a totally believable thesis. She raises the question and puts into perspective long range goals of terrorism.
I'm promoting this book to several friends I've served with in the Air Force and Special Operations.

An Excellent provocative thriller. This one hooks you in and keeps you guessing all the way through. Several times I had to put the book down just to catch my breath -- and wait for the ending, WOW!

It's a little scary that this historical novel fits well into the news of today. Even more so that events that have taken place since the end of the books time could very easily be the next chapter! This is a book that was hard to put down. I heartily recommend it.
TEN STARS. Society is degenerating and it is not "just happening". There is a catalyst--a person or group who is overtly causing turmoil.
Have you ever wondered why there are 2 million children on drugs for a behavior "illness" that cannot be proven clinically and didn't exist 40 years a go? Have you ever wondered why the teen suicide rate goes up after years of "early detection" programs to prevent it?
And why is America so divided? Why is the major media so biased in one direction? Why are there terrorist activities over such a wide-spread area? Why are TV commercials dominated by pharmaceuticals? Why is practicing some religions (one of our cherished Freedoms) being attacked as "offensive"? Is it chance? Money?
And are these social phenomena realted somehow? Maybe you have wondered these things. Lee has gotten to the bottom of these nagging questions. When I finished the book, I knew that she had found the answers--the source of all this decline.
The country has an enemy who has stated that he will take over the world or go to the ever-after trying. I now understand this threat fully and how these social ills are tied together. Our unsuspecting society is going down.
Scared?
Read "White King and the Doctor" and be part of the solution; or wish "someone had told you" when it is too late.-----Marcy Sanders
Art mirrors life and life usually returns the favor. In this well written novel, Miss Kessler has given me a fictional view into the mind and purpose of an all too real terrorist; or is it fiction? In a thriller that is pulled from today's and very possibly future headlines, I was led on a dangerous chase to thwart the terrorists ultimate goal -- destruction of the United States. One of the criticisms of our intelligence community was that it lacked the imagination to forsee the events of 9/11. They would do well to read this book, as would anyone who enjoys more than a good story.

This book should be a movie..... It has all the facets of a great suspense novel. It would make the "Bourne Conspiracy" seem like a TV movie. You can readily see today’s events as you turn the pages of this book. The thought processes that went into the writing of the "White King and the Doctor" reveal the intellect of Lee Kessler! A must read is not really an true indication of its importance...... replace must with VITAL!
Great Book and tremendous material for a great movie without a lot of gore. Having a military background with the Naval Security Group and the National Security Agency, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Even though it is fictional, it seemed real-time based on factual events and much research. There were so many interesting characters and events to keep track of; it was difficult to put the book down. I believe this book presents great insight into the reality of terrorism around the world.

Great read, unfortunately it might be too close to the truthfor a comfortable read! The emergence of a 5th column could very easily happen when "media" wants the news to go their way as Lee Kessler uses in her book. Joan Fullmore, retired truck driver.AZ.
In this "can't put down" book, you are captured immediately in the suspense and mystery of how Zawahiri and his Al Qaeda terrorist collaborate and weave their web of treacherous schemes under the noses of America's top intelligence gurus. Not only is this book "on top" of current events, it probes beneath the surface of the wave of terrorist threats with a microscopic eye revealing a thick cancerous plot... You must read to find out how Kessler uncovers this fictional plot. Or is it? Read it!

Amazing, thought provoking, powerful. Reading this book will cause a paradigm shift. It is truly frightening because every page rings with truth. The White King and the Doctor is both timely and thought provoking. It lays out a scenario that explains how we got the War on Terror. Ms. Kessler has used a very creative look to point out what we should have already figured out. This is a page turner I couldn't put down.
A genuinely original and thought-provoking novel anchored firmly in reality. Once again we discover that the LOVE of money is, in fact and fiction, the root of ALL evil. As you complete this book, no matter your politics, religion or ethnicity, you'll be forced to view the world from a different perspective. By turning the terrorists from bigger-than-life media images into ordinary people, the author carefully reminds us on every page that it's always all about the day-to-day decisions that each individual makes.
“The plot of White King and the Doctor unfolds brilliantly at a high-powered pace that captures the reader’s interest from the first page to the final scene. Lee Kessler’s suspense novel focuses on the War on Terror and reflects her vast knowledge of the terrorists’ worldwide modus operandi, as well as of the positive forces heroically battling against them. Her appealing literary talents add to the readability of an absolutely timely, important novel.”

“I found White King and the Doctor to be the most frightening story I ever read. The characters are compelling and the plot shockingly true, but not at all predictable. I work in the computer/network security field and the criminal investigation work I do is constantly thwarting the bad guys. This book is a MUST READ, if the social fabric of the U.S. is going to survive.”

Haven't read a piece of fiction in quite some time, but made an exception for this one after reading the preview. I had thought it might be possible to penetrate the terrorist mind and examine our culture from an opposite viewpoint, but now I realize how much is really involved! This book is well-written, easy to read, thought provoking and suspenseful. I have been closely following events in the War on Terror and found this a very satisfying look at what may well be happening behind the scenes. This book fills in the motivations for all the headlines I've read over the last 4 years!
I downloaded it & read it in less than 2 days. Couldn't put it down. When's Part 2?!
The characters grabbed me--I wanted to see them succeed; I wanted the bad guys to make mistakes. The plot development was great: almost Clancy-ish, but (lots) more coherent.
Lee has a real insight to the whole "PR" thing, and in war it's called Information Warfare. She has nailed it. This book deserves a WIDE reading. Looking forward to Part 2. Russ Smith
