The author you really get a glimpse at here is Greg Banks, and I will say he's the author that I really got a good introduction to what he does in this book. Getting an author that gets Piers Anthony's seal of approval would bring this anthology to the mainstream.
Terry and Derrick are two heavy weights in this book; I've seen some of Terry's work on Reality Check and this one rivals some of the work in his own short story collections. My only grip with the anthology is the way it was formatted, some of the formatting was good while the others could use a program like Open Office.
It was really professional looking just the same, but could be a formatted better. Good book guys. Good luck in getting these talented authors out there, they are under read and need the readership.
All in all it is a damn good anthology, you get to see some of the stories that appeared in TPI in this one too namely The Card, and this story was by one of the star authors from the first anthology. You'll hear more from the authors who are going to be on the magazine itself namely the fact that Arkham House picked up Ken Goldman for Evermore!
